Panel thickness is only one part of the decision. The core material, steel skin, joints, roof and floor all affect how the room performs.
Start with climate and room use
A sleeping room in a cold region needs a different envelope from a temporary store in a mild climate. Tell the supplier the destination, expected occupancy and whether heating or air conditioning will be used.
Compare core materials
EPS is light and economical. Rock wool is often selected when fire and sound performance have higher priority. Other cores may also be available. Ask for the actual panel build-up, not only a product name.
Review the complete room envelope
Windows, doors, panel joints, roof insulation and floor construction should be checked together. Good wall panels cannot compensate for weak joints or unsuitable openings.
