These systems can look similar in a quotation, but they arrive and assemble in different ways. Start with the delivery route, available lifting equipment and number of rooms.

Expandable houses provide a wider room
An expandable unit travels in a compact form and opens to create more floor area. It can suit accommodation or offices where room width matters. Confirm the open size, folded size, lifting points and weather sealing before placing an order.

Folding houses reduce basic site assembly
The roof, floor and walls are connected as a folding body. A crane lifts the unit into position and the room is opened and secured. Ask the supplier to show the opening process, frame details and transport condition.

Flat pack works well for repeated rooms
Flat pack units arrive as separate frames and panels. They need more assembly work than a folding room, but the packing method is efficient for larger quantities. The same system can form bedrooms, offices, meeting rooms and connected corridors.
